WooUseful Client Trust

Some customers order without a hitch every time.

Others cancel, miss pickups, dispute charges, or pick payment methods that leave you holding the risk.

You probably already know which type costs more to serve, you just have no easy way to act on it inside WooCommerce.

That's the gap this plugin fills.

Customer risk, visible where it matters

What WooUseful Client Trust does

It adds a trust score to each customer, calculated from their actual order history, from the completed orders, cancellations, failed deliveries, and refund requests.

That score shows up as a compact indicator in your orders list and as a full panel inside each order.

No separate screen. No report to pull. It's just there when you need it.

Manual judgment when history is not enough

When the algorithm doesn't have the full picture

Order history only tells part of the story.

If you've dealt with a customer long enough to know they're reliable — or that they're not — you can lock a score manually. Locked scores stay fixed until your team clears them.

No future order history will change them.

This matters in both directions. You might want to mark a longtime wholesale buyer as fully trusted, or steer a repeat problem customer toward prepaid options without having to explain why.

Safer checkout rules

Checkout restrictions that don't punish good buyers

If a customer's score falls below a threshold you set, you can hide specific payment methods or shipping options at checkout.

Cash on delivery, pay-later, invoice billing — whatever you consider high-risk for low-trust accounts.

Safer options like card payment and bank transfer stay available. There is also a built-in fallback that prevents the plugin from accidentally removing every checkout option, so no customer ever gets stuck at a blank checkout page.

A few examples of how this can be configured:

  • Hide cash on delivery for customers below 7/10
  • Restrict risky shipping methods for accounts with repeated failed deliveries
  • Keep card and bank transfer available to everyone
Fair by default

New customers are never penalised

First-time buyers don't have order history, so checkout restrictions don't apply to them.

The plugin can still assign an informational score based on where they came from — a Google ad, a newsletter link, a referral campaign — but that score is for your reference only. Nothing is hidden from new visitors.

Same goes for unknown visitors with no detectable source. They're treated as guests until real order history accumulates.
